Room For White Tears
A bi-monthly grief practice for white-bodied people looking for a collective space to grieve.
As a white-bodied person on a liberation journey, you might not recognize grief immediately.
You’ve spent a lot of time in a state of doing, reading, researching, posting, and podcasting, but you probably haven’t made space to sit and process what you think, feel, and desire.
You’ve been told by Dominant culture and People of The Global Majority that you can’t cry because your tears are a weapon against collective liberation.
You're showing up for everyone else disconnected from your soul work while simultaneously being hyper-aware that you're putting yourself on the back burner. So when will you make time to grieve?
“This is why we must address our grief. We must stop and feel the pain in our chest, the burn in our belly, the tears in our eyes.”

Hi, I’m myisha t hill . Author of “Heal Your Way Forward”. Creator of the Check Your Privilege and Iwosan Collective (formerly Brown Sisters Speak). Host of the “Check Your Privilege” podcast . And I’ve been where you are.
I believe in collective liberation. I believe in common humanity. I’m pro-liberation, pro-healing, pro-justice, pro-wholeness, pro-growth, pro-abolition. Yea, all that!
I’m a human-first kind of person. First, because I know we’re all here trying to heal and do better and messing up is just part of that process. I’ve learned that my relationship to overthinking is rooted in colonial constructs of shame and perfectionism and I’m grateful to have the chance to support your growth.
